ULTI-SPEED WOOD/METAL CUTTING BAND SAW?
This offering is for a complete set of bearings and related parts required to make your multi-speed vintage Delta band saw perform like new.
Please note.....this kit only fits the early Delta multi-speed gearboxes that have the shift lever on the left hand side.  We do not offer a kit that contains gearbox components for the vintage Delta band saws that have a gear-changing push-pull knob at the center of the pulley.
What’s included……..
For the blade drive and blade idler wheels
Two (2) 35mm extended race ball bearings for the upper blade wheel
Two (2) 47mm extended race ball bearings for the saw’s main drive shaft
One (1) 1.85” diameter finger disc spring to preload the pulley side’s main shaft bearing
For the saw blade guides
Two (2) 30mm double sealed ball bearings for both the upper and lower blade guides
For the multi-speed gear box
Four (4) 35mm extended race ball bearings for both ends of the pinion and spur gear shafts in the gear box
Two (2) 1.378” diameter finger disc springs to preload each of the above gear box shafts
One (1) double lip spring backed 5/8” diameter oil seal for the gearbox’s input shaft
One (1) .30” diameter x .75” long compression spring for preloading the detent stops on back gear’s shifter shaft
One (1) 5/16” diameter type 304 stainless steel ball to latch into the detent groove on the shifter shaft
All extended race bearings have a rubber seal on the extended race side and a metal shield on the other side.
All sixteen (16) parts listed above are brand new and are the correct replacements for the original equipment Delta components.
Bonus
– We have included a tool, machined from PVC pipe stock, for installation of the gearbox’s oil seal.
