DELTA UNISAW 3 GROOVE MOTOR PULLEY – ALL NEW
This is an all new pulley for the
1725 RPM Delta 10” Unisaw
.  Original pulleys are getting hard to find, so we decided to design and manufacture a better replacement.
DO NOT USE THIS PULLEY ON A 3450 RPM motor.
The faster running motor needs the 3½” diameter pulley.
This pulley is a direct replacement for Delta part number #1449.
Our 5½” diameter pulley is computer machined from 6061 billet aluminum and then hard coat anodized for corrosion and wear protection.  The grooves are designed for the standard 4L belt profile.
The new design also incorporates two 3/8-24 tapped holes in the web to allow for a better method of attaching a puller, if ever needed.  Original Delta pulleys had no good provision for using a puller to remove them from a motor shaft.
The pulley is bored for the standard Unisaw 3/4” diameter shaft with a 3/16” keyway.
The design also includes two (2) symmetrically placed set screws to secure the pulley to the motor shaft.    The stainless steel set screws and a 3/6” key are included.
Our pulley and an OEM pulley are shown side by side in the photos.  We have also included a photo of the cross section of our new pulley to illustrate the stout profile and thick web used in our design.  The OEM pulley web is about .135" thick as compared to our .44” thick web.
