The Cincinnati Monoset Cutter and Tool Grinder is a precision machine tool that is used for sharpening, reconditioning and generating certain types of cutting tools.  The Monoset Machine can grind straight, tapered and curved surfaces including helical leads; it can grind externally as well as internally; can grind convex and concave radii; and produce a complete new cutter from solid stock.
